Roman vs Greek Nose: What's the Difference?
A Greek nose has a perfectly straight bridge running in one line from forehead to tip. A Roman nose has a prominent bridge that curves outward, often with a slight bump, giving a strong profile.
Comparison
| Greek | Roman | |
|---|---|---|
| Bridge | Straight | Curves outward |
| Profile | Clean line | Strong, prominent |
| Length | Medium | Often longer |
| Tip | Straight | Straight or slightly down |
How to tell
Look at your profile in a side mirror or photo. A straight line from the top of the bridge to the tip means Greek; an outward curve means Roman.
Our nose shape detector estimates bridge prominence from a front photo, though a profile is clearer.
