Why a quiz instead of a photo?
The back and top of your head matter most for head shape, and they're hidden by hair and invisible in a front photo. A guided check with a side photo is more reliable.
Head shape and haircuts
- Flat back of head: keep length at the crown, avoid skin fades at the back.
- Long head: avoid height on top.
- Round or oval head: buzz cuts and short crops work well.

Frequently asked questions
How can I tell my head shape?
Slick your hair down and take a side photo. Check whether the back of your head curves out or drops straight down, and compare width with length.
